I have been attending The Spot Barber Academy for 4 months now and I couldn’t be more satisfied with the decision I made to enroll. First and foremost, our instructors are super welcoming and experienced. They provide an open door environment that allows students to ask questions, ask for advice and learn techniques that have been gained through years of experience. Our office staff is extremely helpful and flexible when it comes to scheduling and getting your hours. They make it almost impossible to not get your hours in, which is very much appreciated. They are understanding when it comes to obligations or appointments and will even call to check in on me if I miss a day. The decor and music is phenomenal and keeps high energy and ambiance, which motivates and inspires me as a student and soon to be barber. The academy also provides us with many events/competitions to attend and we visit the homeless shelter on a weekly basis giving free cuts and gaining more experience. I’m very excited for my future being here and I’d recommend anyone else to join if you want a career that’s fun and fulfilling.

I am very appreciative with my total experience at The Spot Barber Academy - starting with the friendly hospitality and polite accommodations over the phone - to the actual visit. This was the first time I had been to a barber academy for a haircut - along with having received an excellent haircut from Master Barber Instructor Rodolfo Casasayas, I was fortunate enough to have watched him tutor an academy student to the proper ways of attending to customers (holistically) - it was pretty educational. You can see that Mr. Rodolfo Casasayas is a meticulous, able and serious professional - a classy individual with a noticeably strong consideration for others - he should be a major draw for the Academy in attracting prospective students looking for careers in the barbering industry. Oh, and by the way - the actual building and rooms inside remind me of a beautiful eye-catching museum. I plan on going again - and recommend that people plan a visit there.

Excellent haircut by Naileen with detailing by Master Barber Instructor Rodolfo Casasayas! Awesome experience in sporty salon with owner’s motorcycles parked on the walls — Harley Davidson, Honda, Triumph, and Yamaha! Reception room welcomes you in with an impressive library and some of the greatest books of all time, from Homer’s The Iliad and The Odyssey to the entire International Collection Library. Tip the students, they deserve it!

I have nothing, nothing but GREAT things to say about The Spot Barber Academy! To be absolutely honest I didn’t know what to expect going in there. When we walked in we were greeted with incredible decor and a big basket full of lollipops! The place was incredibly clean and amazingly decorated. Jorge had a class in session in one of their classrooms and he came out and greeted us with a smile. We walked back into the barbershop and you immediately notice the 5 motorcycles above the barber chairs and the Huge American flag hanging on the wall. The barber chairs are super comfortable and take you back in time with their classic style. Enough about the academy itself. (Did I mention how clean it was?) Jorge had us all sit down and his students went to work. You can tell the quality of teaching at the academy the students took their time and listened to everything Jorge said. Jorge went around and made sure everything was good. Emanuel, Alex, Jasiel, and Bryant we’re on point and definitely have a great future as barbers. The barbers were all respectful, attentive and listened to what we wanted and exactly what Jorge told them to do. We couldn’t be happier with our experience at The Spot Barber Academy! Thank you guys so much for great cuts you guys made customers for life.
